Another month!
Sunday the 31st of May, we had a good service, even though John was
missing, which we will probably get used to one of these days. He was
at his 'Big Church' in Cleveland gaining experience in that type of
church – which is required for his being accepted in the Ministerial
Fellowshipping Program at the UUA. Over the next year, John will be at
the church in Cleveland one or two Sundays per month to complete that
program. Another hurdle for him that he's jumping well!
The outpouring of love and support for Lou, and for me, on the passing
of Lou's Mom was wonderful on Sunday. Thank You, again, to all who were
there and to everyone else who has sent cards, or calls or visits. We
really appreciate you!
This coming Sunday, June 7th, our speaker will be Rev Joan VanBecelaere,
the District Executive from the Ohio Meadville District of the UUA.
This will be a particularly UU Service, as all the readings and most of
the music will be written by UUs, and Joan's talk will be about the
history and future of the Unitarian Universalist movement in America.
Even the music Janet will be playing is from the UU hymn book.
Well – See you in church!
Bill M.
