Church History

All Souls Church building has survived a century, and the congregation is over one hundred and eighty years old.  The stained glass windows and restored 1873 organ help us remember a long heritage as we continue to progress as a church.

Yesterday was a wonderful day at All Souls. In the words of Mr Monk, ‘Here’s what happened…..’ Sandy was the leader and did her usual lovely job of putting together readings and music to create a service around Walt Kania’s message… Then – the chorus sang and we had a new women’s trio who also sang – ever so nicely! And, then Ayesha played a Christmas season piece on the piano, and the whole church sighed from the beauty of that piece. Ayesha plays so beautifully. We are SO fortunate to have her playing for us! THEN – Walt Kanis was our speaker and his topic was about the mysteries of Machu Picchu – where he and Ann visited recently – maybe over the last month, even. But – his topic was really about spiritual experiences – you know – the kind that just happen to you from time-to-time when you aren’t looking for one or expecting miracles.
